Terms of service

1. Purpose
These terms of service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Sellay service (“the Service”), a budget-tracking and savings-management tool. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms without reservation.
2. Access to the Service and account
Access requires creating an account, via a username and password or via Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. You undertake to provide accurate information.
3. Nature of the Service — important notice
Sellay, including its AI-based coach, is a decision-support and information tool. It does not constitute financial, tax, legal or investment advice in any regulatory sense. The analyses, projections and suggestions provided are indicative, may contain errors, and cannot engage the publisher’s liability. For any important decision, we encourage you to consult a qualified professional. You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions.
4. User obligations
- Use the Service in accordance with the law and these Terms.
- Do not attempt to access other users’ data or compromise the security of the Service.
- Do not disrupt the operation of the Service (overload, reverse engineering, mass automated scraping, etc.).
- Do not misuse the AI coach for purposes other than intended.
5. Availability and liability
We strive to keep the Service available, without guaranteeing the absence of interruption or error. The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages, nor for the consequences of decisions made on the basis of information provided by the Service. It is your responsibility to keep a backup of your important data (an export is available from your settings).
6. Intellectual property
The publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service. You retain full ownership of the data you enter.
7. Free plan and paid plan
The Service offers a free plan as well as paid features (“premium”). The financial terms are detailed in our sales terms.
8. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. The publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a serious breach of these Terms.
9. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be amended at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time you use the Service. In the event of a substantial change, you will be informed.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
